Pretty lady from tourist information center told me that they have this vegetarian restaurant called Sanchon in one of the alleys. Took me some trouble to find it.

Sanchon is a Buddhist restaurant which serves Korea temple food.
Hence, meals are made with natural ingredients only, not even the five spices (garlic, onion, leek, etc) which Buddhist monks are not allowed to eat.

Though the very calming zen environment and vegetarian meal without five spices suit my mom very much, the dinner here would cost 59,400 won (RM166) per set per person.
Never even cross our mind that a vegetarian meal would cost as much!
We then asked if we can order dinner for 3 and shared among us, but the request was being turned down.
We just had to walk out, couldn’t afford to spend those money on dinner alone.

Another vegetarian restaurant recommended by the pretty lady at tourist information counter, only later did we find out that it’s not vegetarian at all.

Ordered Jeongsik (Korean set course) for 3 to be shared among 5 of us.
Special thanks to the owner here because one Jeongsik was supposed to cater for one person only.
14,000 won (RM40) per person for Korean set course.

Another big thanks to the owner in making special vegetarian order for my mom.
At least she can have a decent meal as dinner.
We had to order the set menu so that another order for ala carte items can be made.
Cannot understand their rules here.

Went down to the subway station only to find this pretty wall with artistic touch.
